-THE FLYING RAT-
Phantom of the Opera?
The flying rat.
Cross-eyed cat, wings
I forsake you
you are my mystery
and enchantment
those bi-polar vortice the zenith
un-flown and wingéd,
your flight in the street lamp light
I thought you bird
and was astounded
the black-reddish rainbow
of flight path
like a dark tunnel.
CRAB TALKING
There´s nothing like the loneliness of a hermit-crab.
T.S. Eliot wrote: “I should have been a pair of ragged claws
Scuttling across the floors of silent seas.”
All I know, is these claws are now meddling over my back
Digressing flesh like facts of history
Plowing ocean floors as I write so nothing is left
But dire footprints spiraling in liquid sand.
Once the Giant Wave had passed, the soda cans remained…
The broken surf boards of the sixties and such,
The last shark tooth after the bloody feast
That I now carry hung on my neck like a heroic medal.
Rapping, many truths are said:
The social fairy-tales and the forgotten crimes you saw on t.v.
Speak Out! Something will remain, the echo and the mist
Of your bodily perfumes to seduce crowds with anthropological aromas.
Do not wish any harm, it is a graphene boomerang coming at you
Like a wild sail un-sprung in the middle of a storm in high seas.
The hermit crab has thousands of letters filed in its Shell
Like old blogs waiting to be read.
Remember, capital letters are exquisite hieroglyphics
Encrypted in your eyes
Until the last tear perils.
